Chapter 9, Sitemap and Ribbon Customization, covers the Sitemap and Ribbon customization.

Dynamics CRM 2011 中 Solution 的考虑

上次提到了Dynamics Marketplace，客户/合作伙伴可以下载其他公司的CRM Solution，然后安装到系统进行测试。

比较好的一些实践经验是，安装这个Solution到一个没有任何定制过干净的系统，然后进行测试。

由于几乎每个Solution都对Account/Contact进行过了修改，所以尽量不要做叠加形式的(把不同公司的Solution应用到一个系统) Solution，很容易产生混乱。

尽量用单一的Solution，然后根据业务需求在上面进行修改。如果一定要叠加式的Solution，那么一定要首先在隔离的CRM系统进行测试，修改，然后导出成单一的Solution再导入，测试。

如果对Solution有什么问题，可以去到产品网站询问。

CRM2011的Solution的提出，是一个很大的进步；但是ISV公司对于Solution的发布方式，定制内容，需要更加进一步的改善 - 目前的情况并不理想。

Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace

微软对一些产品提供网上销售第三方插件/解决方案的站点叫做 Marketplace，比如 Windows Phone Marketplace, Dynamics Marketplace.

这样可以帮助合作伙伴/客户提供一个网上的产品交流平台，Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace 针对微软CRM/ERP 产品，允许合作伙伴上传自己的Solution，然后客户就可以针对自己的需求，在Marketplace上找到自己需要的Solution。

目前这个网站还没有针对中国市场的；而中国地区目前只能使用其前身：PinPoint , 目前中国做CRM的公司大概有40多个在上面，希望会增加。:)

微软的云策略

云计算越来越热，不同的公司对于云计算的定义也不尽相同。微软的定义是：“An approach to computing that's about Internet scale and connecting to a variety of devices and endpoints．”

微软有着庞大的云计算策略，可以笼统的称为　Ｓｏｆｔｗａｒｅ＋Ｓｅｒｖｉｃｅｓ　即软件＋服务。具体包括３大类：

软件即服务：SaaS – Software-as-a-Service: 譬如，Office 365, CRM /ERP Online, Windows Intune
平台即服务：PaaS – Platform-as-a-Service: 譬如，Windows Azure platform
架构即服务：IaaS – Infrastructure-as-a Service: 譬如，Hyper-V Private Cloud

可以看到ＣＲＭ是其中的一部分，大家不要掉队哦。：）

Business Productivity 2011: 新年随笔

我最近主持了一个 SharePoint 2010 Online/Lync 2010 的项目（可能是微软在英国的第一个Office365 beta wave 1 的项目），感觉Online Services 虽然有一些功能上的限制，但总体来说还是给力的，客户（一个全球保险公司）也非常满意最终的Delivery，所以明年继续这个项目的Phase2，并且有CRM 2011 Online的许多应用！

虽然没有时间更新Blog，但是对CRM的关注从来没有停止过。12月份Darren在北京微软做了2天的CRM 2011深度讲座，我也连线做了三个主题（希望对大家有帮助）：

CRM 2011 and SharePoint
CRM 2011 Charts/Dashboards/Reports

还有一个给微软的提议（见下），目前还在初步构想阶段，大家有什么想法？

Windows Server 已经内置了许多免费的服务，比如IIS, SMTP, WSS (现在叫SharePoint Foundation)；如果微软可以把xRM从Dynamics CRM里面分离出来提供一个免费的xRM Service，那将是一场多么壮丽的饕餮大餐！

我的构想是:免费的 xRM Service 只提供基本的关系实体构架结构和安全机制，支持SQL Express版本，不包含任何CRM的相关模块（销售/市场/服务）；用户可以购买Dynamics CRM Server License 和 CRM CALs 来获得全部功能。

怎样使用IE Developer Toolbar 查找CRM窗体上元素的ID

CRM中的很多定制需要知道窗体上链接的ID，很多朋友问怎样得到这个ID呢？

首先需要到微软的网站上下载 IE Developer Toolbar，然后安装；安装以后在Internet Explorer的工具栏上会出现一个蓝色的小箭头，点击这个图标就会弹出IE Developer Tools的窗口（这个窗口在IE7及以下版本会以内嵌的形式出现，非常方便；IE8会弹出一个单独的窗口，只需要点击右上角Pin按钮就可以实现内嵌功能了）。

举个例子，我们怎么知道和Account关联的Activities的ID呢？

打开一条Account记录，按CTRL-N打开一个带工具栏的新窗体；
点击IE工具栏上的蓝色小箭头，调出IE Developer Tools的窗体（内嵌在下方）；
点击IE Developer Tools左上角的那个白色箭头，然后点击CRM窗口上的Activities；
这个时候IE Developer Tools将定位在Activities，显示其相关属性，即可找到它的Id了（navActivities）；

假设你想隐藏Activities，在Account.onload() 事件里就可以这样写：

if(document.getElementById("navActivities") != null)

{

document.getElementById("navActivities").style.display = "none";

}

当然IE Developer Toolbar的用途远不止这些，希望这篇文章可以帮助你入门。
